Bench lakes Idaho

The trail head is located as Redfish Lake just a few miles outside of Stanley Idaho. The trail marker states it is 3.5 miles to the lake but my gps  says its 4.5. The trail to the lake is a steady uphill the entire way with a few steeper sections. It is rocky but it is a very easy trail to follow due to it being very popular.

3.5 my ass

And i am off.

This creek is at the start of the trail, then there is no water till you get to the lake

We walked right up on this girl. She let us watch her for a little bit then she took off.

This is a very beautiful trail.

The first smaller lake.. Words cant describe the view

The second, bigger lake.

Dry Creek trail

Dry Creek trail is a nice easy day hike. Only takes a few hours and has some nice views. The trail itself follows the creek and there is some nice areas to stop and have a bite to eat under some trees in the shade. Nice trail.

Beginning of the trail

One of two water crossings. Its not too bad you can see those rocks are large enough to step on.

Must of been some reason nasty winds going through here. Seen a few limbs broken here and there.

you follow this creek the entire length of the trail.
